Doug Waun — founder & builder
Sureel AI is a single-member LLC under Sureel Ventures LLC. Doug Waun owns it outright and personally designs, builds, and ships every platform. Mike Ion (PhD mathematics, deep LLM expertise) and Jack Piza (tax, accounting & IP) repositioned from co-founders to a consulting bench in May 2026 — available when the work calls for it, but Sureel's direction, IP, and decisions are Doug's.
Doug isn't a developer who read about regulated industries — he operates them. Green Wellness Medical is his HIPAA-covered telehealth practice. Vision Research Group is his SDVOSB- and HUBZone-certified federal-contracting firm. The compliance instincts behind every Sureel app are earned, not researched — which is why the Rad family ships production-ready, not demo-ready.
